Our Story

Our story began in 1980, at just 5 years old I, Kellye was an avid animal lover.

I began asking for a dog for every birthday and holiday. After years of receiving stuffed animal “pound puppies” for Christmas my mom and dad finally caved. On Friday December 25, 1985 my dreams came true.

Our family’s first dog was a miniature schnauzer named “Misty Holly”. The entire family loved her. She had 5 healthy liters of puppies from the 1988-1992 when she retired. After high school My love of animals had spread to the whole (4 sisters and parents) family.

The time for having puppies would have to wait until after newlyweds were not newlyweds and the babies weren’t babies anymore. Though none of our homes have ever been without dogs, we couldn’t put in the time needed to be the breeders we wanted to be. In 2015 breeding had worked its way back into my thoughts. Though I had owned a miniature schnauzer almost all my life I decided to try a breed that could be diversified, had a better gene pool to choose from and ultimately breeding a healthier dog.

In March 2016 it all started up again. I bought my first cryptic blue Merle Moyen Poodle. (Moyen is a mix of the standard and small poodle and means medium) Breeding isn’t something you can really get into quickly. There is a lot testing, training and aging that needs to be done. 5 years later I have had 3 amazing F2b labradoodle liters with Remington, my sister Aliesha has had 2 liters of F1 Airedoodles, my niece Kamrin has had 2 liters of F1 labradoodles, and my mom just had her first litter of multigenerational labradoodles.

We are growing our breeding program and getting better with each litter. All of our puppies are raised in our homes with our families, neighbors and friends helping with socializing.  We are in the process of adding parts of the Puppy Culture and Badass Breeder training programs to our own program.  We have so many amazing dogs and upcoming litters that we are excited for.

Welcome to the Doodle This family.
